JC Lahoe didn't grow up in the church. His story is one of learning faith in real time, through questions, struggles, and moments that didn't always make sense.
His perspective comes from the road still being walked... figuring things out, holding on, and discovering that grace meets you even when you don't feel ready for it.

Together, JC and Misty bring two sides of the same story, the one still searching, and the one who's seen what faith can do. Through music and storytelling, they create something that speaks to both: those still searching, and those who have already been found.
Misty Black grew up in the church, with a foundation of faith that has carried her through life's highs and lows. Her story reflects what it means to walk through seasons, hold onto truth, and see God's faithfulness over time.
She brings the perspective of someone who has lived it, trusted it, and seen what's on the other side.

THE HEART (Beat) BEHIND THE SONG
At Lahoe House, every song starts with a story.
Not just lyrics on a page, but real moments—struggle, faith, loss, redemption, love, and the long road of learning who we are in the middle of it all.
Our music is deeply rooted in Scripture, not from a place of performance or perfection, but from lived experience. The Bible is filled with stories of broken people, impossible battles, wandering hearts, and moments of grace—and we believe those same stories are still being lived out every day.
Through country storytelling, raw honesty, and faith-centered themes, these songs were written to meet people where they are. Some songs come from pain. Some from healing. Some from love. But all of them come from the belief that even in our darkest moments, God is still present, still speaking, and still working through the fire.
This space was created to go deeper into the heart behind the music—the Scripture that inspired it, the stories woven into it, and the reminder that these ancient truths still speak directly into our lives today.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to be part of the journey. Neither do we.
Welcome to Lahoe House.
